Gracious God, you are always present, always near, and yet at times we do not see you in the temple; we do not know that we are standing on holy ground. Gracious God, you often speak to us, even calling us by name, and yet we cannot discern your voice. Forgive our distracted minds and hardened hearts, through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
