Monthly or As Needed
Food Pantry
The FUMCFH Food Pantry Team was established in October 2019. The purpose of the Food Pantry team is to provide food to those in need in our community. The 7-member team shops at the local food bank for products and assembles them into bags. Bags are distributed using a drive through system on the 4th Wednesday of every month. These bags provide nutritious food for approximately 160-200 persons monthly.
Resurrection Hope
Resurrection Hope is a ministry for the purpose of serving families and close friends that are planning and implementing a Memorial or Funeral Service for a loved one. We make ourselves available before, during, and following a service of memory or home going for the families that are utilizing the church. We provide attention to the families’ needs while at the church, and assist in any special requests the family may have. This includes providing Memory Tables, Sanctuary set up, and needs for the Family Room. We remain close by the family until the close of the service and are available to answer any questions the attendees may have.
Martha's Ministry
Martha’s Ministry is a wonderful group of ladies who give their dedicated service and outpouring of love to grieving families in their time of loss. These ladies graciously prepare a reception for family and friends either at the church or in their homes. This ministry of the church, can always use more help! If you are interested, please call or email Marilyn Eubank.
Stephen Ministry
Stephen Ministry is the one-to-one lay caring ministry that takes place in congregations that use the Stephen Series system. Stephen Ministry congregations equip and empower lay caregivers—called Stephen Ministers—to provide high-quality, confidential, Christ-centered care to people who are hurting. Stephen Ministers are laypeople—Christian men and women—trained to provide one-to-one care to people experiencing a difficult time in life, such as grief, divorce, job loss, chronic or terminal illness, relocation, or separation due to military deployment.
