Gracious God, you love us in ways that are beyond our comprehension, and yet we are at times distant, distracted, and discouraged. We have lost our sense of connection with you. We come into your presence after absences that leave us confused, exhausted, and alone. We ask for the indwelling of your Holy Spirit. We cry out for your real presence in our lives, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior, in whose name we pray. Amen.
