Dear Lord, We confess that as members of the congregation we all too often seem to think that the work of the church is mainly for the pastor and church leaders. Help us remember that the majority of the church’s ministry and reputation is reflected through our actions. Lay people who show their love, service, faith and witness outside the doors of this building are the only example that some may ever know about the love of Christ. May we always realize that each and every one of us has a mission to show Gods love every single day in every possible way. Help us to be a true reflection of the love of God. Lord Give us your guidance and forgive us for our sins. Amen.
