O God of glory and mercy, you reveal yourself to us in Jesus. And yet at times our eyes do not see him; our minds do not know him; our hearts do not love him; our voices do not praise him. Be thou our vision, O Lord; expand our perception, increase our comprehension, strengthen our passion, and transform us through acts of worship and service. In the name of the One whose light shines in the darkness, even Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
