Getting Prayer to God

Why is it so difficult to pray like you want us to pray? Are we just lazy when it comes to really concentrating on the things we should? The old hymn tells us to take time to be holy. Surely that is telling us to take time to pray. Forgive us for just bouncing across the top of the issues, not really paying much attention to what we are saying. Move us beyond “Now I lay me down to sleep” to the in-depth focus on what you feel is really important, in Jesus Name. Amen.
