O God, you have invited us to feast at your table, and we have rejected your invitation. You have called us to taste your goodness, and we have turned away to other gods. You have commanded us to share your bounty with others, and we have consumed at the expense of our neighbors. For those of us who are hungry, O God, give bread. And for those of us who have bread, give us a hunger for justice and righteousness. Through Jesus Christ, the bread of life, we pray, Amen.
