Jesus, you became as we are so that we could become as you are. You became human so that our humanity could be redeemed. Unfortunately, we too often grieve your Holy Spirit and ignore the goodness you offer. Help us adjust ourselves to your teaching and your light so that we can continue the work you began – to bring hope, light, and redemption to all of creation, for we pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen.
