Remembering Ashley Michelle Jenkins

Ashley Michelle Jenkins, 35, passed away on July 1, 2021. Ashley was a Hampton native. She attended Virginia Tech where she met the 315 girls, who became her dear friends. Ashley loved spending time with her friends and family – especially her nephews, Jaxson and Case. She loved being a mom to her fur babies, Bismarck and Gretchen, cooking, gardening, and stirring up trouble with her brother-in-law. Ashley grew up attending First United Methodist Church of Fox Hill and worked for TowneBank. Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Dallas and Melaney Jenkins; fur babies, Bismarck and Gretchen; sister, Lesley Tonkin and husband Jamie; nephews, Jaxson and Case Tonkin; beloved friend, Johnathan Booth; and
many dear friends and relatives. She is reunited in Heaven with many relatives.
