Forgive us, Lord when we fail to see the signs of hope all around us. Forgive us when we dwell on things that put ourselves and others down. Forgive us when our moods drown out the joy of our salvation. You have assured us that Your righteousness is available through the joy of Jesus in our hearts. Drive the darkness away with the presence of Jesus. Amen.
