Lord, we detest it when we are wrong, when others accuse us falsely, or when we are used as pawns for someone else’s profit. We feel helpless when we are held to an arbitrary standard and angry when we are falsely accused. We give thanks to Jesus for paying the price we could not pay and standing up for us when we couldn’t stand up for ourselves. Remind us that we are neither the center of the universe nor are we in control. Instead, enable us to honor you in all that we do, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
