Lord, make me a channel of Your peace. Where there is hatred, may I bring love. Where there is wrong, may I bring forgiveness. Where there is discord, may I bring harmony. Where there is doubt, may I bring faith. Where there is despair, may I bring hope. Where there are shadows, may I bring light. Where there is sadness, may I bring joy. Lord, grant that I may seek rather to comfort than to be comforted, to understand rather than to be understood. To love, than to be loved. Help us to learn that it is by self-forgetting that we find; It is by forgiving that we are forgiven; It is by dying that we awaken to Eternal Life. Amen.
