Light Within - Traditional

We should know better, but we still look for quick fixes, as if a pill, a program, a surgery, a single donation of time or effort could solve everything. We are like the people in the Psalm who say, “Oh that we could see some good! Let the light of your face shine on us!” But true faith lies in knowing that God has “put more gladness in my heart than when grain and wine abounds.” Help us Lord, to continually, persistently, and devotedly seek your will in all of our lives so that your light can shine through us, even as your light shines within us.
