Mary Says Yes! - Traditional

Creation began with a yes. God spoke, and Creation responded – yes, let there be light and life, and may it multiply and produce fruit! The story of Jesus on earth also began with a yes, spoken by Mary to the angel Gabriel. We confess we often qualify our yes, by adding, later, maybe, sometimes, or if I have to. Help us learn more about you and follow you more closely so that our yes can be yes, and our no can be no. We ask you to help us become more honest and ready, in Jesus’ name. Amen
