Loving Lord, you created us for relationship, and yet we are isolated from one another and separated from you. We confess that our self-sufficiency leads to loneliness, and our self-improvement leads to exhaustion. Anoint us by the power of your Holy Spirit. Connect us to the Body, the church, and to the Lord of the church – Jesus, who comes to set the captives free. Amen.
