There is Good News and There is Bad News

Lord, forgive us for not wanting to climb the mountain with you. We find it so much easier to just coast along on level ground. We think about not being able to cope with the trials of everyday life. Perhaps a bit of spiritual mountain climbing with Jesus would help us deal with our fears and anxieties.
