Lord, there is a gap between the way the world is and the way you want it to be. That same gap exists in me. Forgive me when I ignore or gloss over the gap within and beyond myself. Help me strive for a closer walk with you so that I can help You bring about a closer walk with others, for this I pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.
