When God Says No - Modern

Lord, we confess that we are like sheep and children, no matter our age – we want things to go the way we want them to go, and we don’t like to be told “No” about anything. Help us learn to yield to your hand, wherever you guide us, for our power is not enough, and your power relies on our weakness, our yielding to you. Help us learn our strength comes from our weakness, just as our joy in you is our strength. We ask for yielding hearts in Jesus’ name. Amen.
