Temporary Joy Is No Joy - Modern

Lord, we live in a time of instant gratification and immediate responses. We struggle to wait for responses to our questions. We also labor to work out the questions in our own lives. Doing the work of growing the fruit of joy is even harder because it is a lifetime’s work. Help us persevere, persist, and purpose ourselves for the work of producing lasting joy. We ask not only because you promise us joy, but also because we can increase the joy others can experience. Amen
