Joy on the Vine - Traditional

We confess, Lord, that we are prone to seek quick fixes. We want the ends without the hard work of the means. We want knowledge of You without searching the scriptures or consulting with the body of Christ. We want spiritual strength without the work of prayer and watchfulness. We want blessings without seeking God’s Word at every opportunity. Help us, Holy Spirit, to learn to abide in Christ, to stay close to him and his words, and seek accountability so that we can gain knowledge, strength, and blessings in Jesus’ name. Amen
