Lord, as it was true for Israel, so it remains true for us – we have not heeded your call to listen to you and follow your Word. In ways large and small, we have drifted off course. Yet, you are the Lord of forgiveness who offers us new life through repentance. Strengthen us to change our hearts and ways so that we may be witnesses of your power individually and as a community, for we pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.
