Financial Fundamentals May 2023

This report briefly addresses finances at FUMC Fox Hill. The latest weekly and year-to-date information is in the weekly bulletin available at the church or through the link on our web site.

I am pleased to once again report that we are not only keeping current with all our bills and operating expenses, but are current on our Conference and District Apportionments as well as our monthly set-asides for anticipated future major maintenance. Our total income continues to be down a bit from past years, but so are our expenses since we have paid off the mortgage and our work area chairs are being careful to watch their expenditures as usual. Thank you for being a generous church.

Did you know that you can easily support the work of First Fox Hill whether or not you are “in the pews” regularly? While we love to see you here in person, you can support your church by sending a check to the office or through easy on-line giving. Make your contribution from your checking or savings account or by using a credit/debit card. Simply go to our web page www.firstumcfoxhill.org, click on “Give”, and scroll down to the “Give Online” box. [If you are reading this online, click here for easy access.]

By now you should have received your first-quarter donation statement. This is not a bill, but a way to help us be sure we have correctly recorded your information. Please check it carefully and let us know if you have any questions. If you did not receive a statement you expected, let us know so we can follow-up.

If you are receiving a tax refund, take the opportunity to remember your church and consider if you are where you want to be with your support.
