Financial Fundamentals February 2024

This report briefly addresses finances at FUMC Fox Hill. The latest weekly and year-to-date information is in the weekly bulletin available at the church or through the link on our web site.

As anticipated, we wrapped up 2023 on positive financial footing due to your support and care in spending. We paid all our Conference and District Apportionments as well as setting aside funds budgeted for potential maintenance expenses. Thanks to a generous donation to the missions program – over and above normal giving – we were able to provide several grants to help local, national, and international projects. Donations for the General (or One) Fund are especially important as they are what allow us to function on a day-to-day basis thus making possible the many activities of First Fox Hill. Thank you to everyone who has been a good steward of church resources and kept up their financial support.

Financial Mailings: If you did not receive your offering envelopes for 2024, please contact the church office so we can remedy that situation. Donation statements should be in the mail by the end of January. If you don’t receive yours shortly thereafter, or if our records do not match yours, again, please contact the office so we can address the issue. Remember, the donation statements are not bills, but to help us all ensure we have the correct information and for your potential use when filing your taxes.

Don’t forget, if you choose to, you can simplify your giving process by using our on-line donation opportunities. At your discretion, you can make one-time donations and/or set up regular recurring gifts weekly, twice a month, or monthly. Simply go to our web page www.firstumcfoxhill.org click on “Give” and scroll down to the “Give Online” box. If you are reading this online, click here for easy access.
