Live Stream
Please accept our apologies for a series of interruptions to our Sunday live-streaming broadcasts. Be assured that we are doing our best to have church services available for your viewing. While we can often reestablish the connection and continue streaming to the church website, the connection to Facebook cannot be reestablished in real time. To continue to watch where you left off go to the church website; here, you should be able to view the continuation of the service. If we are unable to get connected the service will get uploaded to the website “Media” page within 24 hours.
Additionally, please let us know if you are having any other issues with our live stream broadcast so that we can make the necessary adjustments and provide you with a better quality of broadcast.
With that being said, if you are interested in volunteering to work helping to produce our weekly, on-line, broadcast of Sunday services, speak to one of the AV Team. On-job-training is provided and help is needed in all areas of production: projection graphics, sound, camera operation, and live-stream broadcast control. No, you are not expected to “know all that”, but come join the fun!
Assisted Listening System (ALS)
Just a reminder for members and visitors alike: The sanctuary is equipped with two versions of the Assisted Listening System for those with less than perfect hearing.
Personal radio receivers and a variety of earphone styles amplify dialog in the room; these are found in the back of the church.
We can also broadcast directly to your smartphone through an App. The App allows you to use your own ear buds, etc. to provide the best hearing options. Procedures for downloading the app and connecting to the church Wi-Fi are shown on the sign behind the A-V desk at the rear of the sanctuary.
Any of our team members can assist you or provide you with more information.
An additional feature of the Listen Everywhere system is that it provides “closed captioning” text of any speech on your phone or tablet. It lets you be certain that you heard what was actually said. Give it a try!
Other Broadcasting Services
The AV team also assists with computerized presentations, slideshows, Zoom Sunday classes, etc. for various activities and events. We would ask that each class or group, who uses any of the church electronic equipment, designate one or more members to become familiar with the equipment that you will be using for your particular activity. This will avoid any problems from set up to shut down. The systems are all “relatively” simple to use. Ask any of the AV team and they will gladly guide you through the steps.
We also would like to thank-you for your contributions to the LUMENS fund, which helps keep our live-stream possible. And finally, your AV team wishes you a very Merry Christmas!
