Financial Fundamentals December 2023

This report briefly addresses finances at FUMC Fox Hill. The latest weekly and year-to-date information is in the weekly bulletin available at the church or through the link on our web site.

This is the time of year when we look to our congregation for year-end donations to help us wrap-up the year on a positive financial note. And we are doing the same now. Our year has been fairly solid, but very tight. While not reflected below, November has picked up; we encourage you to make December do likewise. Thank you for your efforts.

The Pumpkin Patch was a great success financially and equally so for community and church fellowship. Our patch is known far and wide. From pumpkin sales and related donations we netted just under $5,000. Thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s patch so successful in every way.

Our stewardship campaign for 2024 is wrapping up. There is still time to turn in your estimate of giving card. Check with the office if you have misplaced yours. Remember, your gifts make possible the many programs and ministries of First Fox Hill, directly and indirectly. We encourage gifts to the General Fund which pays for our overhead, general operating expenses, as well as all budgeted programs. You make our ministries possible.

An easy way to be certain you don’t fall behind in your support of First Fox Hill is to set up on-line recurring gifts. Simply go to our web page www.firstumcfoxhill.org click on “Give” and scroll down to the “Give Online” box. If you are reading this online, click here for easy access. Or, if you prefer, use your camera and scan the QR code which you will regularly see in the Anchor, in the bulletin and other publications, on the web site, as well as before, during, and after our live stream services.
